Moonlight Symphony

The moon’s light

Dances on the water

To the musical works

Of crickets and toads.

She rises in the sky,

As the symphony crescendos,

Lighting the night

For all nocturnal animals.

The symphony fades

As the moon’s path completes,

But the intermission is short

For in a few hours it begins anew.
